RSL, based in Chandigarh is a public limited company listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). RSL has been promoted by Rana Gurjeet Singh and Rana Ranjit Singh in 1991 in Joint venture with Punjab Agro Industrial Corporation Ltd. Ever since the company’s inception, they have been main architect of  RSL’s growth and are responsible for its strategic initative. RSL is an integrated sugar manufacturing company with interest in Sugar, Power and Alcohol.  RSL is one of the largest producers of sugar in northern India with manufacturing facilities in the states of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
